Sometimes, a seemingly flawless book can disappoint more than a severely flawed, yet heartfelt read. Isn’t that what they say? As the Testing pushes its candidates to the breaking point and beyond, the body count rises, forcing Cia and her friends to fight for survival. [I would have understood if they had been best friends forever. The characters were very well fleshed out and realistic and it kept me on the edge of my seat right until the very end. The handsome yet flawed young hero. Or maybe even somewhere in between. [ if the population is that small and they are trying to rebuild then why kill off dozens of the best and brightest every year???? I am really torn between how to rate this book and what to write now because I really really enjoyed this book but then I read other reviews...reviews of readers who rated the book with 3 stars or lower because I always like having different POVs on a book I read.
