Since Dragon Rising is skipped in US, how do I go about starting this quest? If you want to try it, keep a backup save in case something goes wrong. I have never played Wyrmstooth before and am keen to give it a try in US. Because we all do For all else coming late this IS the original author. But hey, lesson learned (insert Dark Souls 'So yeah, that's about the size of it.

But the whole point of the wyrmstooth mod is that you are the dragonborn and they specifically hired you because you are the dragonborn, seems kinda strange otherwise. The wiki page says that the introductory quest begins after completing Dragon Rising. He has stated that users are free to share the mod in private with others, but they will not receive any support from the mod author. The Legacy team has added patch support for the mod in version 5 of Legacy. There seems to have been no official public announcements made about it at the time of its uploading, but there were a few announcements on As of 2020, it is agreed upon that the author of the archive.org uploads is indeed Jonx0r after a member of the Nexusmods staff verified him. On 3rd May 2016, the modification was deleted from all known mod hosting sites without any warning provided. Long story short, I lost my job and I guess the bitter realization is that some of the thousands of hours I sunk into these pet projects probably should've been spent on slightly more important things, like keeping my qualifications up to date so I wouldn't find myself in this situation. The social media accounts of the modification at Twitter, Facebook and Google+ have all been removed as well.
TL;DR: Lost my job, need to get my life in order, deleted everything because I don't trust I'll have the self restraint to just leave without going back to the thing that I love doing.

Choo choo! Wyrmstooth is nothing short of perfection on the modding scene. You don't need to go to the greybeards. I just wish I had it in me to have been able to make something that they would've been proud to reference as part of their portfolio. That first run across the island, as well as hunting down marauders, were a big highlight for me. It was created by Jonx0r and featured an entirely new main questline, side quests, new npcs and much more.
