The temple is built on 11 acres of land and has a huge and beautiful image of Goddess Durga sitting on a Lion which attracts the pilgrims towards the temple.

This is not a high rise... prior to birdwatching...Quite a grand property with illusions of past grandeur and what is here called a resort. Good location. Vaishno Devi mandir is actually located in Katra district in Jammu. The Maa Vaishno Devi Dham at Vrindavan hosts an array of statues, articles, and abodes which are awe-inspiring not only because of their architecture but also in their very existence at such a holy place. Front desk staff and other staff members were very polite.
The food, services and the staff here were very good. Lift was also the old type with pull wire door. I loved the satvik... hotel.The rooms are spacious,neat & clean.The staff is disciplined & courteous.The complimentary breakfast & the meals were tasty.The only thing required is a good... false oasis amidst the sands of poverty. We were here on a quiet evening but still the food was good (and the rum too) and the staff very very hospitable and thinking along. !Maa Vaishno Devi Dham is situated near road side. But overall a good experience. They deliver newspapers in... Gate, which is also where the market street is on your way so you can buy whatever you need and it’s so much less expensive than if you’re in a more touristy area like... mathura .. but with worst services .. mr sharma at reception is the starting of our stay .
