It was very convenient to downtown Skaneateles and were we to return to Skaneateles, we would likely return to the Finger Lakes Lodging.Convenient and reasonable with close proximity to the village make Finger Lakes Lodging an attractive option for many. All I wanted to do was relax and enjoy some wine from the region at that point, which I found out that there was no wine key in that room like there was in our previous room. The "Great Room" at Finger Lakes Lodging is equipped with creature comforts including a coffee maker, refrigerator, fireplace and space for a group gathering. We had a long drive behind and ahead of us and had a fantastic night sleep at the Lodge. There was a miscommunication and they sent someone to clean the room we were already in. It was perfect stay for overnight to spend the day in town. The Lodge is across the street from the Mirbeau Inn within easy walking distance. The bed was very comfortable.
Then we noticed the one-night-stand had something on it that look like it was spilled and after further examination it was the actual finish had come off and the wood fibers we're showing.

26 W Genesee St, Skaneateles, NY 13152-1020. Having low expectations and picturing a 70's style highway motor lodge, we booked the package deal. The room was clean and the spa products were good. You can get everything you need at the hotel (drink and food). Save. Decor was in keeping with the "lodge" feeling — headboards fashioned from branches, and lots of moose and bear motifs on the lamps, towel bars and so on. We feel that the location offers a nice option when you want to spend a day and play in this region of the Finger Lakes. The rooms are My husband and I had been hoping to stay at the wonderful Mirbeau Spa just up the road for a special getaway weekend, but they were booked; seeing the Mirbeau name stamped on The Finger Lakes Lodge, and the hefty price tag per night (well over $200 per night and basically equal in price to the famed Mirbeau itself), we made reservations here for two nights, trusting that we could still enjoy luxurious Mirbeau dining and facilities even though we were a short distance down the road.
