Fish are eating flies fished under an indicator like Pyramid Lake Balanced Leeches and Maholo Nymphs but most anglers opt for shooting heads this time of year. The key is to get to an area where the grass in not a problem or has died back already. Look for conditions to remain pretty good until the water starts to get really cold in a month or so. The new strain of Lahontan Cutthroat Trout continue to grow and offer anglers the chance to catch a fish of a lifetime. Most of it is weather based.
