1 decade ago. I really love the name Mackenzie but am wondering how best to spell it. I love it.. everyone calles her kenzie..never Mac..maybe M or Mik if anything... My niece is named Makinlee, and people often mispronounce it make-in-lee due to the spelling. It's never misprounced, but since there are so many spellings it often gets mispelled. I definitely like Makenzie better. I think if you use it, use the traditional spelling of Mackenzie.
