We had bison that fell right off the bone & a guinea hen cordon blu that I was afraid to order but so glad I did, the chef knows his stuff, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.Great, personal service and delicious food. It was well worth the cost for a great dining experience in a unique underground setting. Go here! Dining with 8 people from my family, they easily accommodated our large group. Extremely knowledgeable. With a different wine selection with each of the six courses, and Alligator Soul Banana Beignets for dessert, if you don't go here, you'll be sorry.

Our table seemed private and spacious and the decor was charming with paintings and fresh flowers.I would highly recommend Aligator Soul to anyone....my Husband and I dined there for our Wedding Anniversary....the Gumbo and the Smoked Ribeye was unbelivable !!! It was the first time I had alligator, and it was really good! Alligator Soul was sold to us as a very unique menu with lots of exotic options. We were so full that we decided to split up our meal. They sat us in the lounge area because even the bar was packed with dinners with reservations. We ended up getting the scallops and the ribeye (the most popular dish on the menu). I had a seafood risotto with butter beans that melted in my mouth. The food was amazing! It is a great place for the atmophere but I feel that is just prices a little bit too high. I sent it back and did not order anything further. A must go if you are in town.Atmosphere was great, food was simply excellent. The food was incredible.Excellent shrimp and grits. They do a great job of ensuring that you have privacy. There is a $10 plate charge but they load it up with extra food. The service and food was excellent. My husband said it was the best steak he’s had in a long time, and my scallops were delicious.
